I am not seeing a  way to use my own populated grids withought going thru a database connector; is there a way to pass pandas, php array, my own mssql results from a stored procedure to create a grid and sub grid am currently evaluating the package on a 30 trial

Yes, you can also load it via array OR session data.

Please refer demos/loading/ folder for load-array.php and load-session demo code.
