I would like to be able to select 1, 2 or more items in a field drop-down list, like the filtering in Excel.

Is this possible? Perhaps by holding the CTRL or SHIFT key or by adding a check-box beside the drop-down?

I have tried things like the following without success.

$col["searchoptions"]["multiple"] = true;
