My server is MariaDB Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.11.4 on Debian 12 and PHP Version 8.2.7. I cannot insert new records or modify existing records

Just to log the solution:
Please try using the latest adodb library from github.
https://github.com/ADOdb/ADOdb/releases/tag/v5.22.7
 
Download the zip archive and replace the lib/inc/adodb folder
