Combining toolbar on top and frozen columns

Strange things happen to the data grid when combining $grid["toolbar"] = "both" or $grid["toolbar"] = "top" with frozen columns. The rows of the frozen columns aren’t anymore on the same height as the corresponding rows in the other columns. Also, the action buttons on top are covered by the frozen columns. Is it possible to combine this to features?
