Changing the grouped column doesn't work correctly

QuestionsChanging the grouped column doesn't work correctly

Hi Folks,

I’m currently running PHPGrid v2.6 and using a drop down similar to the demo file “Appearance > Grouping” to enable the user to choose which column to group the data by.  The problem I have is that the original grouped column always seems to partially apply and skew the results.  The demo suffers the same problem.

To reproduce using the demo files, use the toolbar drop down and change the grouping to ‘Employee Id’, or alternatively ‘Ship Via’.  You’ll notice the grouping includes multiple groups with the same Employee ID, such as 15 groups all with the same Employee ID of 1 on the first page.

Clearing the grouping via the drop down also causes issues with sorting, with all records still sorting as if they’re within the original group, before then sorting by the chosen column.

Is there an easy way to make changing groups work correctly? Is this a known bug etc?

Many Thanks.

Any feedback on this one please, it’s currently making toggling between groups unusable?
