I also have the same problem, and it happens to me with the dates too, I have version 2.9.

You need to edit lib/inc/jqgrid_dist.php and replace this function:

function sanitize_csv_data(&$data) {
	if (preg_match('/[=].*/', $data)) {
		$data = '\'' . $data ;
	}
	return $data;
}
